The 2006 SRT Nationals event held at Heartland Park Raceway was a huge success. The entire event was fun for all who attended as a particpant, vendor, or spectator. There were plenty of activities to keep everyone involved and action packed. The event held several instructional racing sessions for the road course, drag racing, and auto cross racing with professional drivers teaching the particpants to drive their own vehicles safely on the various tracks. With some of the finest SRT racing vehicles on the circuit, such as the Woodhouse Viper and SRT4 showing their pressence as well as instructing. SRT also brought out several of their new vehicles in the line-up such as the Caliber SRT4 prototype, the Crossfire SRT6 convertable, and a Dodge Magnum SRT8. The Caliber stole the show from the SRT booth, as this is a very much anticpated upcoming release from Dodge that many have not seen in person.

There were many vendors present, such as Corsa Exhaust, Carbon by Design, Mopar Supercenter, and many more. The main sponser of the event, Kicker Car Stereo was present as well with 2 of their show vehicles, the Crossfire SRT6 coupe, and the SRT4 Neon all dressed with the latest in car audio by the Kicker Install Team. They also had a 2006 Dodge Ram Quad cab owned by one of the Kicker engineers, demonstrating Kickers new involvement in the OEM market with DaimlerChrysler. Offering up audio upgrade kits for many of the current Chrysler, Dodge, and Jeep line up and more to come. Their new kits will take your personal vehicle audio to a new level, delivering superburb highs, mids, and bass with an easy to install packages.

Mopar Supercenter helped to end the nationals event by bringing live entertainment from "Silver Judas", a young band out of Wilmington North Carolina. The group performed mid afternoon on the closing day to help fill a void where the racing results, and car show voting was being calculated for the awards ceremony that followed shortly after. The group performed an outstanding concert while on stage in the vendors area offering many people from around the country to hear their original music. To find out more information about the band, check out their page on MySpace under SilverJudas.
We would like to thank everyone who attended, and we hope to see you there next year as well.
